i dont know what the switch connects to. but if it connects into the ecu or a computer you can probably just wire it up the same and it will work. try go to a wrecker and see where the wires go.

They ECU pin out basically fall into the below catagories, and then smartlock and non smartlock for most of the below.

EA 3 speed auto/manual
EA-EB with seperate trans controller
EB-ED 4 speed intergrated auto/manual
EF - auto/manual
EL - auto/manual (very very close to the EB-ED 4 speed intergrated auto/manual)

Smartlock controls the doors on cars with a button, to use the button in any other car you will need to wire up some relays etc to send the correct signal down the actual door lock wires to lock/unlock the car (much the same as adding an aftermarket alarm)

ok under the dash (steering wheel) on the left side (nearest the middle of the car) you should see a metal box with big yellow plugs going into it, if you do then its non intergrated and thats the trans controller.

I am willing to bet this what you have, so that means you basically need an EA 3 speed auto ecu wiring diagram.

Do you have 2 TPS's on the throttle body?

Then use what I posted above, the wire colours may not be 100% correct on your car (they are taken from my car EA), but will be correct for pin assignment

It's my own work, so I know its correct cause I sat down and went through each wire and checked and cross referenced back to the gregories as to the function of the wire as well. I did that for adding the 4 speed auto to my car.
