Just does... when you buy a new car just take in the reciept and pay 4 transfer of reg or get new reg and vola they hand you a sticker. only works though if the car was previously reg'd in SA... otherwise it's off to the cop shop to get VIN and ENG. # checked then to transport SA to get reg.

so the vehicle doesn't need to be checked over when u renew the rego, if it has sa plates already??

Thanks for the kind words guys. I'm really looking forward to having a crack at doing some of the stuff myself, hopefully I'll learn a fair bit while I'm at it too. Not long now anyway. Haha I'm counting down the days (only 33 :P)
