been a while since iv updated so ill keep yas all informed
unfortunetly we have hit a bit of a brick wall here, due to a sevier accident damage from previous owners, we are having some trouble putting on the gaurds and gettin the bonnet to close properly, weve lined everything up as much as we can but still it hits no matter what, we have pulled and smashed and done everything we can but unfortunetly were goin to have to do some cutting, we thought it was goin to be a qwick and painless job gettin the guards back on, how wrong we were... i was aware the car was in an accident after a year of owning the eb but not that bad, its really making a few problems, but 1 bit at a time were learning and solving the problem... until we get this sorted out painting goin to be delayed till its done which is shittin me cause i need my car for work on monday, not good :S |

well....its finaly painted, but im completly over it to be honest, the amount of stuffing around we had to go thru for just a respray was just too much, i may as well of done it in 2pac paint or just bought a new shell to prevent going thur what me and the old man went thru.... on a plus side it dose look 100 times respectable compared to what it used to look like, im very happy with the results accept for a few little tiny itsy bits spots that need retouching but we went this far we may as well finish it ya know atm just cutting it back getting ready for a polish, hopefully it should be done this week as i really badly need my car back for work again, i cant stand XF spec, good car but a world of other problems some of the bits we painted we painted the inside of these parts just cause they really needed it, it something iv been wanting to do for a while as they were an eye saw when you look at them, chips and rust and etc, so much better now this door is from snypereb which was originaly blue, the other door just had to many dings and crap in it to bother with, basicly be bog by the time we painted it... the bonnet we picked up for $25 bux at kilsyth pick-a-part which was really lucky, was in great condition too, my old bonnet was just crap, who ever fixed my car previously forgot that it was an eb bonnet and not an ea one heres some pictures of it finaly painted we started to cut and polish at the back as u can see the paint is a little faded, it was prity good by the next day to start finaly im just glad its painted, but this car wont be around as long as i had hoped it too be anymore, next mod for it is gas system cause i dont see any point going further then what it needs to be, as well i need a work car soonish so after i sell this look into gettin a wagon or a van or something, dont worry i have another e-series in my drive way, but thats a secret ;) |
