Default Something Stuck in A/C Fan

When I turn on the a/c I hear a sound like a leaf or something is stuck in the fan. The noise seems to come from the passenger footwell. Can I pull this apart somehow to clean out whatever is stuck there?

Yes you can indeed... it involves pulling out the glovebox I believe, but I have not tried it myself yet.

Mine does the same occassionally as I park near gum trees and the leaves get sucked down the passenger side vent at the bottom of the windscreen, above the heater/blower.

Try switching the fan on full and alternating between recirc and fresh, it usually clear mine!

Default done a thousand times

Open the glove box and pop the side clip ins so it lowers further down. Put your air to recirc. and you should see the little door open up and the fan within. Shine a torch in there and you will find the edge of a leaf sticking up get the old tweesers and fish the sucker out.

this was actually covered a short time ago, and howesy said exactly what you can do to solve the problem.
