Well it appears that my weightloss has slowed since increasing my walks.... i'm assuming this is due to building muscle in my legs??
On another note, I have lost a further 2cm off waist, 1cm off stomach and 4cm off chest. |

Thanks for the update eb 5litre.
Those are awesome results! Dont be fixated by weight loss alone. Your measurements are showing you are losing.......even if the scales try to tell a different story. So if anything you are losing fat. Anyone can lose weight (a mixture of fat and muscle) but IMO - you are losing fat only. Which is great! Keep up with it! |

You will build a little bit of muscle up straight away, then once you get a bit more strength, you start burning fat like crazy.... Just keep walking/swimming/bike riding, anything low impact, and you will be sorted, just take it slowly...

Good going mate.
I just read youre original post and you said that you had glandular fever at some stage. I had glandular fever 30 years ago when I was a teenager. And it hits me again every 12 months or so since then. Usually when we have our first cold (cool) winter week here in Brisbane. Every joint and muscle aches and I dont move for 24 hours. It only takes about 3 hours from feeling a little off colour to wishing someone would hit me over the head with a brick. But a day later Im fine and ready to go again. So with youre next blood test get the doc to check for glandular fever. It can knock you around for the rest of youre life.. |

Not being able to sweat must make losing weight very difficult. Cycling at night may be another option as the air passing over you helps to keep you cool. Exercise such as walking or cycling are really good for stripping off fat, if you do enough of it. A minimum of 8 hours exercise per week is what I find it takes for myself to start losing fat, but I'm not overweight. I have seen some pretty big body fat losses from people cycling 16 hours a week or hiking 30+ hours a week. Not being able to sweat would rule out those sort of volumes. |

Yeah my walks have improved. I no longer get dizzy or aching legs. I find that I have increased speed and can power up the hills with little troubles.
The only thing thats stopped me lately is I pulled a muscle in my neck on Friday and it still hurts to move. |

Ok I'm still going at it and have so far lost 12.5kg.... not wrong about the 2nd month getting hard, I can see why some people give up at that stage.

Awesome work!! Glad to hear you've stuck with it. If you're interested in calorie counting or would just like to find out what is in the food you're eating I can highly recommend this website.
