i had mine done and it actually closed over as well the place neglected to mention to water down the diflam c, ended up getting it squeezed out with a lot of pain and undone, im yet to get it done again, call me a woss but the pain was bad enough the first time

sneh to tongue piercings. I was thinking about getting my lip done. either just a labret thingy in the middle or 'snake bites' which is either side of the lip. anyone had experience with these?

I was going to get the labret done a few weeks back but ended up getting the nose done instead. But I don't know, I'll either do that or the corner of my upper lip (not sure what it's called) but yeah, one of those.

Can i go off track a little bit and just ask (and this is a serious question), what makes you want to get something stuck through your tongue/lip/whatever other bits?

It must just be me but I really cannot see the attraction, and Im curious as to what it is.

Hmmmmm well contrary to what most people believe, not all of us do it for "those" reasons lol. I certainly didn't. I had a friend that had one and always thought it looked good and kept putting it off thinking, why would I want something stuck through my tongue lol but the more I saw them, the more I liked them. Woke up one morning and thought, bugger it, I'll go get my tongue done. I did it purely for myself and no other reason. Didn't stick a bar through my tongue for a man that's for sure lol.

As far as the nose, well I like the look of a nose piercing, that's all. With wanting the labret done, I actually find that to be a very sexy piercing. Don't know why but I do, and it's for that reason that I want it done. I guess we all have our own thing, to each their own as they say.

Out of curiosity (this is a genuine question so mind's out of gutters please lol) but does anyone else flip the underside of the bar and roll the ball on their lips? This is a bad habit of mine. Just wondering who else does it.

yah sort of a habit of mine, i also put the bottom of it out and close my mouth with it hang'n out . i managed to clamp it down with my teeth while i was at it .. sort of hurt :|

I honestly didn't think blokes got their tongues pierced, don't they get downstairs done for the 'ladies pleasure'?

I have seen heaps of people with piercings and the only men I have spoken with that have them are most definitely gay (and proud to be so). That is just my experience, doesn't mean I am right

LOL its quite the opposite for me! All the gay guys i know dont have it, most lesbians i know do, and quite a few of the alternative, emo and surfer dudes i know have em. My boyfriends dieing to get it done, so am i and defiantly for no sexual pleasure thang. For quite a few people that sort of stuff is just a look thing, not a pleasure thing. Unless your like my mate Haydn who is covered in piercings most done by himself, including his prince alberts!! He pierced them himself and also stretched them :S eeeeep. He loves pain though, he has a picture on his myspace of him hanging by hooks in his back... crazy man. Anyway, he did them as personal pleasure thing mainly.

I personally wanna get my nose, tongue and a couple more in my ears. I only have my belly done and two pairs of earings in my ears. Im not a big fan of the labret though (or any lip piercings), love a good eyebrow piercing on a guy that suits it mmmmm!!!!

I think though the gayest thing though would a guy getting his belly peirced. Doesnt mean he is, but that would just be wierd for me!! lol
