Unhappy Front & Rear Bar = Need Help

Hey guys, well i took off the headlight covers as the xr fronts look heaps better with em off, however there is the holes that were left showing, my mate filled in the holes with black putty but they are still noticeable. One of the guys from "The Touch Up Guys" came out to have a look and said the best thing to do would be to respray the whole bar as just sanding back and painting over the holes wouldn't be that good...would i be better off getting a new xr front as i don't wanna get anything fibre glass the guy told me u hit something and it just shatters. Also im really after a Rebel rear bar, does anyone know where i can get them from? i aint tryin at a ford dealer they will charge ***t loads!
Cheers!

This is the downside of removing those headlight covers, the way theyre attached means the holes are drilled as you've found out.

Im a bit surprised that the touchup guy said it cant be fixed, i would have thought a panelbeater etc could quite easily fill em up and respray the bar. Thatd be my preferred option anyway.

He said it could be fixed dude but the job wouldnt look as good so he recommended respraying the whole bar but it wouldn't be cheap! :(

Little bit of pushing the messy stuff back in the holes, some touch up paint to match and then some clear coat would be the most cost effective solution.

Genuine Rebel rear bars are getting pretty rare these days.
