Welcome!

Nice looking EB you have there mate. You could lower it a bit and add some extractors, 2.5 exhaust and maybe a cam. Depends how good the current motor is. Dansedgli got roughly 200rwkw from his 300,000km motor by turboing it!!! Just depends what you want.

No GT kit PLEASE!!!!!!!

Chevldog,
the extractors and exhaust is on its way mate yeh i love the sleek look of the e series just lowered with no kit. ive also got a 5 speed on the way its from an ea though so i need to find out whether i need to do any mods to the computer if i put it in. the eb is in desperate need of a spray job as u can see the front gaurds are brighter then the rest of the car and the roof is going crazy. thinkin of painting it cobult blue.

It depends how long you plan on keeping it for and if you want to keep putting money into it. There's heaps of things you could do... It just depends what your aims are.

You will need to either trick the ECU or get a manual one.

Depends on if you want show, go or both. Personally I'd leave the paint and get to work on the mechanicals. It'd give it more of a sleeper look leaving it as it is. Just a bit lower and then go for broke on the drive line.

I picked up a set of 15inch EF steelies today that I'm going to put on my car when i get it back from the crash repairers. The way I figure it is that they make it a bit more stealthy and are lighter than the alloys for better times.

Welcome mate, looks like a fine example. With the manual and lowering you won't be lacking in performance - keep us posted.

I'd say, spray it Cobalt Blue and dump it. Polish the wheels etc, that'd look nice.

get the EA and swap the trans, extractors and springs into your EB. Don't do it the other way around and put the EB engine into the EA....EA's have way more squeaks and rattles than EB's. Then get clear indicators and side repeaters, pull off any pinstriping, spend 80 bux getting it buffed and maybe some chrome stripping on the side moulds....

that's probably the cheapest mods ever and it will look 100% better.

Not from my experiences. When i put the steelies on the EF before i sold it, they were WAAAAAY lighter than the ELGT's

Funny, I always thought it was the other way round too....

Alloy as a substance is lighter, but when you compare something far bigger in all dimensions obviously the alloy's advantage goes out the window. I think the 14" steelies are the lightest stock E series wheel.
