Default snypereb and his diff swap pix (25/04/07)

Some may know thatSahun killed his diff on Tuesday night.
After some investigation I found he had killed the spider gears. Which left his 308to1 SS unuseable.
Fortunately I have a 327to1 LSD for sale. So it was off to my place for a diff swap.
Below are the pictures from the day.

First Shaun and his lovely partner start to remove brakes and lines.

With everything undone, the diff comes out, shauns is happy to see this.

This pic shows the diff out, watts link and brakes left in, to minimise rework later.

New (2nd hand) diff slides in. (This so easy, I should spend more time cleaning the yard)

It's getting dark and bomber gives Shaun a hand.

I stick my head in to make sure all is good. Thumbs up, ready to go.

After a drive, shaun likes the inreade in traction and acceleration.

LSD wins every time.

The old diff dying is probably the best thing that could happen.

It wasn't rushed. The doner diff has to come out of another car (stands for theis car came of my sprint which we has to fit a diff to, we did 2 diffs that day) In all about 4 hours.

The replacement diff is as dirty as the old one. Given more time it would have been cleaned and painted.
