Its a bugger when some tool before you decided that they should use an Air Ratchet to tighten the bolt instead of by Hand...............
Havent taken off a coil pack yet so I guess that would have some annoying bolts on it.............

Yeah that top bolt is a right priick, but I find the top bellhousing bolts royal bastards too! And then there's the intake manifold bolts towards the rear... Oh, and not to mention the pedal box bolts, arrrgh!

Lower manifold bolts under runner 5&6. Agree that top starter bolt is also a sharp edge of a table.

Before the bolt was fully unwound, Rollin exclaimed in frustration "man, how long is this bolt?" to which UNR8D promptly replied "as long as my schlong!!!" Seconds later, Rollin unwound the bolt passed it's last thread and it's true dimensions were revealed. The length and girth of what is now known as the "schlong bolt" caused hysterics. I hope you get the results you crave once the lane is tuned mate

Lol at the schlong bolt!!!
Don't know about most annoying bolt, but most annoying nut in some e series is the one behind the wheel. Actually, that's not limited to e series, but all makes and models. The upper wishbone mounting bolts/nuts on the passenger side are a bugger to get to unless you have a hoist, and are the ones currently stopping me fitting my camber kit.

I worked out a way to get to that top bolt, this applies to MPFI manifolds, not EF-ELs. You use a 1/2" ratchet a couple extensions and a uni joint. You can get to the bolt through the intake runners, and once you maneouver the socket onto the bolt, its pretty straight forward to get it off. That's the easiest way I've found. Getting it in though, that's another story.
