Hey Guys,
I am after a pair of UHF radios, just something cheap, 2-3km range, does anyone have a few spares laying around? or know of a place i can get a set? looking to spend no more that $100 for the 2. Cheers

Most audio places (car audio) stock some form of UHF's these days, try those or like ant said, super cheap

UHF for $40 are you serious... ive never seen em that cheap... maybe AM but UHF... at that price ill put one in the BA

$80 for them. They're ur typical .5 ohm? i think which means about a 2-3 km radius, lineof sight of course...... with some cheap batteries i bought... let me know. Brenton

When I was looking I was going to get the same as you but you may find the peson you are talking two goes out of the radius and you can't hear them.
I got the 8klm one, sure it's more pricey but I'm not as restricted.

what brand are yours brenton? uniden? is it .5 watts or ohm's?

i know aussie disposals have a em for $60 but im not sure if they will have any in stock because i work at the warehouse and we havnt had any in there for a while but its worth a shot
