As if you were ever going to get it at the price, that many days out. I wouldn't worry about it anyway - tomorrow there will be one in better condition for half the price - always happens to me, anyway!

Wow. They sell for that much? I've always like the EA Ghia rear garnish (one reason why I never upgraded to an EB/ED back end), and that looks to be in about as good condition as mine.

I recently won a TCE 2500 stall convertor for my f100, I won it with 1 second to go
I also had 1 bad experience trying to buy a stally, i won one for $227.50, but got a message saying i need to pay $350 to be able to recieve it... few emails exchanged, and then i made phone call to see what the go was to get a serve about how that i cant get it that cheap. Still havent done anything about it yet. I dont want to wreck my 100% feedback

hOLY MOLY....

I thought i would ask $70 for my VGC ed fairmont garnish, i might ask $170 now!

NOS prices are rediculous latley, never thought anything E-Series would pull that much money however!
A friend from work just sold his Monaro wheel arch moulds NOS for just over $3,800.... People are crazy!!! But thats muscle cars for you....

Have a look at the bid area and you will see (1)guy put the price up too where it went which is the problem we all face .The item started cheap enough but that is the luck of the draw with auctions ask anyone who has been to a car auction and how many times it happens, better to put a want ad in the forum and could end up getting one in as new condition. Next time buyer beware heh?????

If I were you I would get the sellers E-mail address and give it a couple of days and make an offer, cause surely no1 is that crazy to pay that much for a EA garnish

a bloke I know has a "sniper" program he uses to do stuff like that to people. Form what I understand you show it the item and tell it what you're willing to pay, and when there is a minute or so left if the current bid is below your maximum it bids $1 more and wins it for you

Pretty sneaky really

That's why there is E-Snipe. I use it and 9 times out of 10 I win my item.

i just manually bid with 30 seconds left. if i'm not at a computer, i'll do it from my phone at 1 minute left.
i was looking at an XW GT steering wheel. needed a resto, but was a good base. some guy paid $860 for it. $350ish for a resto and it costs more than buying one already restored from a shop... and he bought two?
