Default Burnouts In A Auto

Hello, what is the best way to do burnouts in an AUTO? Today I left it in drive and both wheels where spinning but the revs did not go over 2,000 rpm then the right wheel stop and the left wheel kept going until it hit 4 gear then it slow down and stop. Most of the time I have it in 1st gear and both wheels spin up to 2,000 rpm and won’t go past that so I have to stop and try again and the left wheel starts spinning by itself. How do you do burnouts?

Buy a spool/LSD.

foot on brake

foot on acellerator

You can even have then gearbox in nutural then shift in to drive

combine both of these and you'll have tyre smoke, and possibly flashing blue and red lights and a stuffed gearbox and some worn out rear brakes...

are you guys all for real?

No-one has a clue. Mate, if you wanna do a good burnout in an auto, for starters, clamp the back brake line, then chuck the car in 1 (Not drive, because as the revs increase, the car will shift into 2nd gear, meaning it will bog down and cause the car to sit at 2000rpm as you said), then chuck your foot on the brake, and hit the accelerator.

When it's been spinning for 15 seconds or so, and it's high up in the rev range, shift to 2nd, and it should shift and go to the limiter again.

Good luck.

N to D will kill trans in a second.

Stall it up, if you have the power/torque with LSD you will spin both easy.
If you have SS, the wheels will alternate.
If you don't have enought power at the wheels will stop when the tyres get sticky.

What exactly does a burnout do to your car? As in Diff, trans, engine, brakes, tyres etc? Obviously it cant be good for the car, and while pulling off a burnout, how long should you run a burnout for until serious damage occurs?

Oh, and if your at the drags and you want to pull a nice burnout to warm up the tyres only, how long should you initial do one for?

We all know where it is legal to do it and we only do it there.
