Default Aftermarket headlights

Just had a quick look on ebay and there are some cheap aftermarket EF headlights ($115 for the pair).

I just want to know if they are as good as the genuine Ford ones or will they get condensation in them and go yellow like most Taiwan crap.

From what I've heard, they are crap. There are a number of cases of them melting due to the heat the globes put out. Get genuine. They will cost more, but they are worth it (and if you fit headlight covers, it prevents them going more yellow)

doug, dont waste ya time mate.
the inner shroud melts down inside them, the reflectors tarnish and the lenses burn on the inside, and thats with standard wattage globes.....i'd hate to see what happens to them with big wattage globes...:

from memory you polished up your old ones and they came up pretty good... do the same again man

Thats a heaps better price than a shitty XR front that someone was selling recently.. XR fronts are almost as over rated as EL2 XR8's over the standard EL XR8.
