Hi all.
I've rekitted my 32/36 DGAV Weber carbie, and before I put it back into my car I am wondering if ANYONE here has a detailed assembly drawing, or any detailed drawing, for the water choke for this carbie. I can find pictures for everything else except this part, and as there are only a couple of pieces involved I'm wondering if the last person to fiddle around with it didn't lose something crucial. Whoever it was, they only hand- tightened the screws throughout the whole assembly. So, if anyone can shed some light on this component for me, it would be greatly appreciated. |

Thanks for that. It looks like the same pic that came with the Carbie kit, but I put the carbie on last night to see what would happen and the choke seemed to be working. The problem was that the spring that sits on the end of the choke diaphragm assembly didn't seem to be pushing against anything- until my mate suggested that it was just a locating spring to stop tha diaphragm assembly from getting dislocated inside the choke, preventing the choke from fully returning. Clear as mud, I know.
