Default Thanks....

To my sister for taking me to the Guns'n Roses show last night (friday).
It was a great show with Rose Tattoo opening. Then Sabastian Bach from Skid Row followed with a very good set. He showed his support to ours and his troops overseas "sitting in a tank, so we can rock right now".
Then came the show stopping GNFR set. To say that Axle Rose is one of the best frontmen is an understatement. Great show!

I went to the adelaide one last week on wednesday. Beware, GnR dont start till about 11pm. AXL like to have a sleep before hand I hear. And on a weeknight you pretty cained after getting home at 2am only to wake up 4 hours later for work.

Worse thing that happened to me that night was I had my car broken into after getting back from the entertainment centre. the worthless morons smashed my rear passenger window and tried to steal my stereo. They were pretty dumb and couldnt get it out so they damaged it beyond repair in angst.

Damage bill to date is still being put together by insurance, but the window I had to replace off my own back at $480!!! japs cars suck for buying parts. But I'll get that reimbursed with the insurance later on.

Over all the GnR concerted rocked hard. Bit screechy coz i could barely understand a word AXL was saying. ears were ringing hard afterward.

Was it worth it? hmm, only if u have the next day off work and take public transport or taxi home.

Just done a quick bit of searching for those who want setlists (yes, I am extremely bored and have nothing better to do unfortunately).

http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/tour/tour-073.php - scroll down past the few Mexican shows and you get to the Aussie ones, with setlists and a couple of notes for each show.

Disappointed I missed it, but unfortunately the funds weren't available.

Well i went to the Sydney concert last night.

Overall it was TOPS

The only let downs *plural* were...

No camera's
Gunners didnt come out till just after midnight, over 90mins late.
Didnt get out till about 0315 and had to hurry to the last trains leaving and no taxi's to be seen.
The two lead guitars were over powering Axl's vocals... Massivly!
Generally poor audio set up for Gunners, a little disapointing...

On the good side...

Great SEATS
Sebastian Bach(Skid Row) were great, Much better sound quality as well.
Axl Rose looked healthy and not drug F'd like he used to be.
The slower songs by Gunners were the best.
And Ron's Guitar Solo doing Advance Aust Fair really got the place shaking
And Axl took the **** out of himself.... Princess for a day... LOL

And as Sebastian Bach stated... "It was 14years too long"
