Default door lock button missing

did my car miss out or is it normal for the door lock button to be missing for some reason on an AU1 xr6

Where its meant to be located isnt even cut out or nothing, all there is in that location is the dimister button

I think the door lock is on the left of the steering wheel.

just push the button on the door down.
to open again, just pull the handle slightly without opening door

there is not button but the feature is activated on the BEM (I thinks so, the wiring diagrams on here says it's on there)

My XL ute will cop the button soon. Picked it up out of an LTD . It's the same shape and size and the rear dimister button. Just got to get round to modifying the fascia as i'm doing something different with it

Cheers
