So what do you guys rekon? Good look or what?
It happened on my way to work on wednesday, on Sydney Rd in campbellfield, just crossed a set of lights and was pulling up at another....and then.....BAM! a silver EF ran stright up the back of my car, causing 4g's worth of damage and a big headache! Dropped the car off at J+M's prestige Car Repairs in Thomastown this morning and i should have it back by friday. |

At least the XR is going to get back on the road I would have thought that 4k's worth of damage would be close enough to a write off these days.

Bad luck mate, I'm surprised its not written off.
Couple of questions, what happened to the chrome strips? And.. I noticed your taillights have been tinted, what was the go here with the insurance company? Or dosent it matter because its not your insurance company? Hope it looks as good as new when you get it back.

1tufel - i think the bumper bar must have been replaced before, becos its cardinal red underneath.
fairlane_ghia - yeah i would be driving that, but thats my dads car now...lol...i did all the work and he gets to thrash it! poylal - yeah the back bar was pretty average, so i get a free respray! haha! braden - yeah so am I mate, one guy said he would just get it written off, but this other bloke said that cos its an XR model, he would fix it up! yay me! got over the chrome, i prefer the red believe it or not. i dno bout the taillights, but the panel beater didnt say anything, so should be right ey! |

Well it looks like i'm going to get it back next weeks sometime now, bit more damage done then they first thought. Its all insured, going through the other drivers insurance whcih is AAMI.
The assesor hasn't looked at it yet, but the panel beater is pretty confident it wont be a write off, luckily. |
