Conversion, lol. Yeah just change the parkers to coloured LED's. T10 is the correct size. Autobarn have them but its cheaper to get them off EBay, my white ones were $7 pair inc. postage! Autobarn sell them for about $15 a pair.

Just so you know they are illegal except for white and possibly yellow. Red, blue and green are definitely illegal tho.

Indeed they are illegal in theory, but blue tinted parker bulbs appear white so will never give trouble. Do not buy LED as they will fry in the heat of the headlight globe (does not apply to ED-EL XR models of course). And consider lightly blue tinted headlight bulbs to match, I am a fan of the Autotecnica ones often available at Kmart.

i suggested removing them there and the copper took the caps off me once i took them off. but i got out of the canary, and this was in the commonw hor e i was driving at the time

the only forward light colour you can have is white. according to the cops and vic roads

i had Blue LED's bright as anything and i have the Blue Vision globes which give off a bluey tinge to it. I just chucked 1 of the Blue LED's inside my car (Footwell light) and looks wicked

I got canaried years ago at springnats... Was pulled over and all they could find was green park and numberplate lights (green condoms on globes)...

The police were gutted thats all they could pick over the whole car..
Still a pain in the bum and not really worth iy for a green tinge of light, but an 18yo has gotta do what an 18yo has gotta do!

just for your interest i am in tassie and had an aftermarket auto accessory business and we used to deal with neons, aftermarket headlights, tail lights ect. after one of our customers got nailed for having his blue neons on "while the car was parked in a car park" we got all the rules and regs sent to us from the transport authoriy and found that it was NOT illegal to have blue lights on a car as we have been told for ever. there were do s and donts about RED AMBER and GREEN being trafic light colours (yes i know it sounds crazy) but in TASSIE thats the real rule. I suggested that anyone we sold aftermarket lights to got the relevent docs from transport and carried them with them so when the boys in blue pulled them they had it in black and white. may not get you out of being nailed for being cocky or stupid but if your like the majority of us and are in it for the pleasure it may come in handy

just to add to that
orange can be placed as clearance markers towards the front of the vehicle only

Yeah but you cant even see the parkers when your headlights lights are on? its mainly a show thing, i reckon youd have to be pretty unlucky to get stung?

Unless you drive around during the day with your parkers on, even tho you'd think that wouldnt matter. There hard to see with the headlights on but on some angles you can see flashs of colour in the headlight.
