Does anyone know what's involved in removing the power steering from a TF cortina? Can you just remove it or do you need to change the steering rack to a non power steering unit?
Thanks in advance!

youd need to change the rack over
is it broken or are u selling it to someone ? theyre is loads of non power steering racks out there... its the power steering racks that are hard to find so picking up a standard rack will be very easy. |

it would proberly seize on you.
power steering works on fluid been pumped around it via the motor... if no fluid been pumped.. then no lubrication.. the standard racks have grease inside them to lubricate them.. |
