Sierra sapphire is the sedan model and and a normal sierra is the coupe. The sapphire was also produced for longer and was the newer version, and was more suited to the family peopl because they were brought out in 'estates' or more commonly Station Wagons.

The Sierra std version came in 4-door, as found in South-Africa, and always the hatch- or fastback, dunno how you call it here.
The Sierra came also in a 2-door version, aka RS Cosworth series, and the Sierra XR4 - both 2-door hatches. The Sapphire came in 4 door only, sedan. That's it I know, I owed both back in The Republic. |
