Default Focus alloys for sale?

Howdy doody

I belong on the Fiesta forums but hey a Euro Ford is a Euro Ford right?

Looking for a set of 15", 16" or 17" Focus alloys, preferrable with rubber and decent tread.

Buckled two of the alloys on my Fiesta and the cost to repair doesn't make it worthwhile.

I'm going on info from others that the stud pattern and offset is the same for Fiesta and Focus...? (4x108).

Thanks all...

Cheers

u can go for LR 17" MP3 which a couple of fiesta guys have.. or even the 16"s..

I have a set of 16" Zetec rims in great condition, one has a scratch on a spoke, but they're in otherwise perfect condition. I'm putting on some 17" rims shortly off an ST170, in the next month. I'll keep you posted, the tyres on my 16"s are about 75% used but in good condition and all evenyl worn (I rotate regularly). I reckon $100 per wheel would be fair, say $400 for the set? Tyres should cost between $150-$200 for a decent set - Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 recommended replacement at abour $200 per tyre.

Still looking for 17" alloys for my LR Focus. I missed this auction ending by 5 minutes today and the final price just about made me cry - $255 for 4 x brand new XR4 17" mags! : What's the retail on these from Ford?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Fiesta wheels have 4 studs and Focus have 5?

Correct

But the LR focus Gen1 had the same stud patern and offset as the Ford Fiesta.

Btw on www.fordfiestaxr4.com a member is selling there wheels with tyres for 1200.

he has only traveled 1500km on them.

When i had my Fiesta i had LR Zetec 5 spoke alloys with BF Goodrich G force tyres.

The Focus wheels looked fantastic on the fiesta. I would definately suggest going with these

Tyres are reasonably cheap too. Common size, 205/45/16

You can go cheap tyres like Nankangs, or if you fancy spending a bit more maybe some Continentals, dunlops, michelin etc.

If i were you i would be Pm'ing Zetec and snatching his wheels up. 100 per wheel is a bargain.

Just to let you know the Fiesta ST rims are still available for $1,200 with near new tyres from Adam in the Rally team. Tyres alone are worth about $250 each and rims are worth $600 each from what I'm told, so you're looking at $3,400 worth of rims for $1,200. DO IT!!

These are 205/40/17 tyres - what size tyres does the LR Focus Zetec R and ST come with?

Anyway, I think the difference between 205/40/17 and the stock Zetec 205/50/16s is about 3km/h in 5th at 3000 rpm.

17" MP3 rims on a Zetec R come out with 215/45/17. I think the same with the ST170 not sure best person for that would be Zetec himself
