Default What's the best way to secure a laptop for data logging

Do I stick it in a baby restraint? Must be better than a bit of gaffer tape? And also how do people mount their cameras securely?

I made a tight fitting foam holder then used seat belt to hold it in. Cameras I used to have a alloy box mounted on the rollcage and stuffed with foam tohold the camera
