Always use car stands to support a vehicle.

Dang, that sucks. I had a bit of a f-up yesterday with my jack... had the car up on stands on the rear axle while doing the rear shocks... one of the stands slipped along the axle a little bit and when I went to jack it back up to remove the stands my jack wouldn't go high enough hehe. Luckily I could jack it up on the diff housing and it was enough to remove the stand.

O well its time to pull the sump off for some pannel beating, its not a tuff job, just not a fun one jacker up again (this time carfully and place on stands) pull the pin's for the mounts jack the motor and place blocks under the mounts there is then enough room to riggel the sump out between the engine and the cross member.

also while its off check the pick up as I have had one crack on me and suck air this does amazing things to your oil pressure
