central locking

While changing my rear power window switches i seam to have stuffed up my central locking, Now the rear right hand door won't lock, all other doors lock. any ideas? please help.

its an au....they have problems with their locking actuators from the factory mate......we sell them all the time at work...mainly to taxi drivers

What happens when you try and lock he car?

Check your connections again.

If the wiring is OK listen to hear if the electric motor for that door engages. The plastic worm gear might have chosen this moment to snap. A search of this site will give yield a shirt load of info asbout fixing this repair.

When i lock it all the doors lock except this one (rhr) i can then open this door from the outside, and all the other doors unlock.

As Robe said, listen out for whether the motor for that door is engaging.

Do a search - there are 2 fixes for this. One is a temp fix (basically disconnects the outside handle so the door can't be opened), the other is a permanent repair/replacement of the part.
