Default Ran me a new PB

Well just got back from Calder. A few of us decided to head down, as did nearly every other bloody man & his dog it seemed, to give the old girl a run and see what she could do. First run was a shocker on street rubber and was 14.122@163.16km/h so I swapped over to some decent rubber and ran a best of 13.862@163.34km/h, not bad but there is still a fair bit left in her yet I reckon.

Congrats on the new PB. There may be more in it but still, you gotta be happy with a 13.8. Well done

Might be time for me to buy some Toyo's or M/T's for myself then, no fun on street rubber.

That's the target at the cars current spec.

Had three runs for the night and they were the first and last. The second was a 13.979@163.05km/h, which equates to about 101mph so there is definately room for improvement.

ahh, so getting on top of your 60' and when you make your gearchanges should shave that extra tenth or 3 off the time ;)

So despite whoosha having an extra ~1.5mph on you (and a tenth), I guess the way you're looking at it is your 347's extra torque will make up the time difference, even if your 101mph remains unchanged?

That and at Heathcote last time I took her out I was running at 104mph and that is the same place Whoosha ran the 13.7.

Whoosh has gained a couple more kw with the new leads and plugs, Not mention he also has a new clutch.....And doesnt run octane booster

Untill you do some work to your Auto I dont think you will beat Whoosha's car, and if you do Im sure he or I will just beat you strait back.....
The only question is, If you beat it how long should we give you to gloat before he or I hand your ar$e back to you on a plate....

Oh, you've got an auto. Well do you "D" it or manually shift?

What's your driveline compared to Whoosha's? (stally? diff ratio?)

Carn"t remember Russ did you use my M/Ts last time or the Toyos..?? as the M/Ts are on 17's would give you a higher mph at the end all be it a little slower out of the whole the Toyos are on 16"s there for should launch quicker but knock your MPH around a little.. just a thought :

Just had another thought, the first run I did was on 18's and was still at 163 so I don't know what's going on. Time to get me some decent rubber of my own and get me some practice I think.
