Those FTG brakes upgrades look good.

Given that theyre Series I, your options in terms of upgrades in braking system are a bit limited - but if you can, I would go to the AUII onwards system like what FTG sell. Youll get far better braking performance and it opens up a lot more options to you i.e. brembos etc if you decide to go down that route.

If not, go with DBA slotteds (or RDA rotors - they are just as good but they are cheaper), and some good pads.

Now while we're on the subject, I'm after a bit of a definitive answer on cross drilled rotors. We've all heard that they crack etc under heat, but my question is, just how hot does that have to be? Im thinking unless you really put them under say track work or whatever, youd be fine, and also, if cross drilled rotors are apparently so bad for cracking etc, how come brembos for example come with them, and they dont crack?

cheers. now i think ill just get new rotors and pads. and airbrush them myself.

how r they ment to crack when the point of drilling dimpleing or slotting rotors is to help cool down and spread the heat on the rotor.?
