Thank you for your enquiry and I will try and answer your questions: 1. Re existing printing; this depends on your tyre size and wall construction of the tyre. Generally as a rule of thumb 15 - 25 mm from the rim edge is where we start printing. However this is becoming less of a practice now since the larger 20 - 23 inch rims customers are requesting lines almost right on the rim. If you want the line in a spot where there is tyre lettering I buff the lettering off so that the surface is rough enough for the paint to grip to. Its very neat and most of the time you can not tell that there was writting there to start with. I buff the tyre accoring to the size of the die used for printing. 2. Re variation of thickness of line; these are the thickness's available: 13.5 mm, 10.3 mm, 6.8 mm, 5.5. mm, 2 x 4.3 mm and 2 x 3.5 mm (that's right TWIN lines). In the past I have done larger upto 1" in size however quality is important to me and I dont like fluctuations in paint transparency. There are other companies that do larger, if customers really wanted it I would refine the process further to produce a better product. Here is a sample of some tyres from 18" to 20". Pretty much any colour is available, if not instock at the time it takes a couple of hours to have made up. Regards Paul 0438645772 p.s. call me if you have any further questions.
