Might be a stupid question
But would having a different colour seat belts in a ute make it considered road worthy and not allow you to get a RWC?? This isn't a Ricer thing just a price difference of $100. Oh the Ute will get it's RWC in VIC. Thanks |

as long as the seatbelts are adr aproved and dont have their shock tags showing, its all legal

As far as I'm aware the colour has nothing to do with it. As long as the manufacturer states that they meet the ADR requirements. I've seen plenty of red harness type seat belts around.

ADR process = pre market
NVS process = post market National Vehicle Standards. Per above posts, you should be fine.

OK cool, its gonna be from Ford spare parts (mates rates) so the difference in the colour for the same thing was that big I thought something was gonna be a problem.

sudden impact notification devices,
look at the end of your seatbelts near the anchor points.. it will say some thing along the lines of "if this is showing replace!!!" just means they are beyond where they might save you. i got bounced for rego because of this one year
