Believe it or not when the suspension needs rebuilding on these its only $185 per corner for a rebuild kit from Toyota, as compared to $1000+ for models with airbag suspension. The handling and ride comfort is amazing, even better than the Tein HA Coilovers i have in may car. As you can see i moved over and liked them too much, now im hooked. |

Been in a 330rwkw vl turbo (wheelspin in 3rd on boost about 150kms/hr = scary)
Driven a 216fwkw pulsar r32 gtr pretty much standard wrx standard My new track car: Mitsubishi starion running about 17psi All of em feel like they got jet engines in em thanks to the boost but they're all pretty mild when it comes down to it, boost gives a false feeling on how fast cars really are in some cases. Except the top two, They are unbelievably fast.

and im pretty impressed with the car its the total opposite of my old car now i know why ppl get dailys yeah i was wondering the potential with the car i was thinking of slapping on a t25 it should spool very very quick how do the stock engine and auto box cope with boost? also the center console and door handels have sun damage can i replace them with newer ford parts? i used the search engine but couldnt find any info on that the car handels very well for such a huge car i took on a vz monaro for funs sake on some twisty roads and i think the frame flexed a bit cuz some of the rear plastic popped off the corner of the rear window also i looked at the air intake and i noticed taking the airbox off and just bolting on a pod might be an idea due to the very short length of pipe do these cars have an air flow meter? |

I was a passenger in bigAl's car (sil80 212rwkw/1250kg) a few weeks ago... then I got into my car - which up until that point I thought it had decent power - and felt that it dropped 150hp! That thing is ridiculously fast... I loved every minute of it... :

the 4.0 could use twin T25's quite easly. Pinch your mates 3540 for your EB, much better suited.

I only just joined this forum recently and thought I had better show you guys the "family car"
What do you think? It's a full import. 2000 Nissan Stagea. We traded in our 96 200sx for it. The sad thing is we thought the 200sx had power but it was nothing compared to what this one puts out |

Stagea = most fun family car ever!
Crazy to think that some versions of these have the GTR engine/running gear in these things. |

another one to the list
2007 Renault MeganeF1 2.0L Turbo (230kw's) Bloody slow in first soon as you hit second it flys 130 in second gear i thought that was pretty bloody good. i have a pic at work of a speedo in one of them doing the max k's (270km/h) in i reckon it would do it |

I looked seriously at many Nissan GTR's in NSW Vic and Qld and drove quite a few of them .....hate to have to say it....I was dissappointed with their performance. The best one got a full check up pre purchase inspection at ADVAN at Silverwater. Ex Kiwi Peter Hopkins is a bit of a legend with these cars. I eventually decided against any of them and upgraded my XR6T Ute instead. It is now way faster and much, much, much more drivable than any of the GTRs I had the pleasure of driving, including a 345RWKW monster in Qld. I am very happy I went down the upgrade XR6T path rather than buying one of the many Godzillas available. But I do understand why the Nissans in particular have a cult following. They are pretty good.
