Default my interior again

if anyone remembers i had my whole interior reupholstered but when i took photos i hadnt made a new parcel shelf or did i have my headrests on. Here are some quick photos i took today of the parcel shelf and seats + headrests. Hope you like.

ps. i think im gonna re-do the doors eventually all in velour instead of the inserts and carpet.

Parcel shelf looks great. What did you use to make it and what have you used to cover it with (what material)?
How does the sub sound from up there also?

i used 6mm maconite. it took a lot of cutting, sanding, cutting, sanding etc. i covered it with some fake fur from spotlight, spread it over the shelf, cut to shape with excess and used contact glue.

the sub sounds ok but its not deep enough i dont think. its a little raw sounding, but it is only an 8".

anyone got any ideas for some deeper bass besides a boot boxed sub?

looks pretty good.
if i may ask how much did the re-trim cost?

deep bass = bigger sub + ported box + good amp + high quality music/mp3's

ratteling = put some rubber between sub & parcel shelf and use more screws to hold her down

the re-trim of the seats, roof lining, door trims, put new carpet in for me (bought it already moulded) was $1500 total - carpet

i made the parcel shelf, theres not rattles or anything wrong there so far. I cut the holes pretty tight before the material was laid over the top of the shelf. The speakers and sub are quite a tight fit so i havnt even got them screwed in yet. Ive played some hip hop in the car and turned it up really loud and theres no probs

The rear 6's and sub are run from a 600w pioneer 4 channel amp

cool

i wasnt so much getting at up n down or left n right movement.
i was thinking the parcel might not be 100% flat and may be leaking sound & or vibrations from tiny gap over the span of the sub.

hard to describe...do you get what i mean.

you may want to make the hole on the sub slightly bigger....you want the inner fame to move and the outter to be still. umm how to put it....the virbration may be coming from the inner frame touching and moving against the parcel....whereas the surface mount of the sub using rubber between it and the parcel will cause no rattle...screws are a must for the sub and done up tight but not as tight to fully compress the rubber (looses purpose otherwise )

i hope that made sense
