Hi i have being looking at an ef/el body shell,the owner says that it is a special light weight built by ford for racing,but was bained approx 8 of built.
Chassis no is 6fpaaa sl-0078. does anyone know of these? Thanks Lyndsay |

Does sound like a Saloon Car shell possibly, never done much research into it. SL-0078 would seem to indicate number 87 to me.
Don't know about light weight, but it was probably delivered as a shell and not a complete car.

just call your local ford dealer. give them the vin number and let them find out bout it.just tell em your looking at buying it.

Would probably have extra welds and be missing all unneeded brackets etc. Wouldn't be suprised if it was lighter, pretty common practice for motorsport shells.
