Hip Hop & Rap is what i mainly listen to.

despite what people think there is alot of good musical hiphop and rap out there,
its just unfortunate that all people get to see/hear is 50cent mumbling, and rappers talking about the 30inch rims.

favorite artists: DJ Quik,The Roots, Common, Kanye West, Mos Def, Nas, De La Soul, Kam, Suga Free.

other than that i listen to a bit of Prince, Chilli Peppers, i like anything thats a bit funky

I'm liking Something for Kate at the moment...

A bit out of the ordinary for someone who is by all accounts a metal head through and through...

I like heaps of diff styles, but metal is my fave. Sabbath, NIN, fear factory, sepultura, Ultraviolence. ac/dc ALWAYS pumps on my stereo.
As long as you stay awy from the mass produced pop shit, you can always find good music in any catagorie (apart from country)

Figgkid's album is pretty good for an aussie hip hop artist.

On the whole tho, I'm not a major fan of our local hip hoppers.

yay I must be one as I have the cd. and no 99% of Offpring fans think Smash is the best and i'd have to agree although Ixnay is awesome aswell

I have very similar tastes to GreenX, most of my music is rock/metal. I am pretty disgusted with most of the tracks on the radio. Seems all you have to do to sell a record nowdays is to strip and be a total whore in the music clip.

Seems aussie hip/hop is getting pretty big aswell, Hilltop Hoods performed in my town and everyone went crazy, I was drunk and I still thought it was terrible.

Like most music! I don't have a favourite style or band. I really like the techno/dance remixes of the old songs though.
