aftanoon all just wondering if anyone can tellme how and where to disconect auto choke on 86 gc meteor 1.6ltr piece of s...!the car wont idle on its own selfasteam spent hours fidling swearing and cursing and think that it is a problem with the auto choke?checked plugs bit oily leads replaced coil adjusted timing checked vacume hoses of which there is about 2.6million changed fuel filter so basically got fuel got spark drives wont idle.any suggestions incliding best flammable liquid to use to burn it would be greatly appreciated.cheers MIK :gren: :gren:

screw the choke adjuster so the butterfly is wide open or use a spring to keep the choke off
choke should operater either via a vaccume pot or a heat spring or water temp piston can you change the choke over to a manual choke using a differnt throttle body and cable

forgive my ignorance but wot does the vacume pot heat spring or water temp piston look like and wot other causes could should i be looking for :gren: :gren:
