Yes I know I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed but can someone please tell me how to highlight edit part of a quote so that it is the only part that is added to my replies. ie only one sentence of a paragraph. Thanks

Just click the quote icon on the post you wish to reply too. The edit the text to remove unwanted portions.
Caution should be taken here, make it obvious that you have deleted some of the post as it can sometimes be easy to change the context of what was said, when 1 sentance is used in isolation. It's just common courtesy. Hope that helps.. |

Just edit the quote the same way you would edit your own comment.
Making sure to leave in the [ ].

you could always copy / paste the piece you want to quote
then all you have to do is put [ QUOTE ] at the start and [ /QUOTE ] at the end..... no spaces inside the brackets though...... |

If you delete the
at the end of the text you're quoting, you'll end up with:--
Tried that and its not working, thats why I'm at a bit of a loss. Tried highlighting it too but it no worky either. I must be doing something wrong. See The Bar, Page 5 , Dodges thread on Boycoting Bali. |
