Before I noticed that my MAP sensor hose was torn in half, 18L/100kms, now that I fixed it, 13.5 L/100kms, spirited outer suburban driving.

Not to mention my valve stem seals causing my oxy sensor to go nuts! It sounds pretty tough though when it tries to hold idle, haha.

Is everyone running premium fuel? How much difference does it make.

I'm just running normal unleaded as I have been doing since petrol prices went up. I used to find that it'd use more fuel running on Optimax, but then that was probably because I didn't feel so bad flogging it...

The EA runs 91RON. The AU is on 95RON now, runs smoother, from what I've found anyway.

The EL stays between 14.5-14.9, but it does very short trips here and there. It usually gets 135km out of 19-20L, if you calculate it yourself that's about 14.1/100km. It's dead stock. Tried premium to "clean out" the fuel system but it became a little sluggish and made no improvement to economy. I might clean the injectors or replace them down the track.

My EA, no trip computer but 22L/100km on premium at the mo :(

I used to seem to average around 18L/100k and was a daily driver it just drinks in heavy traffic, since moving and getting a better run it uses alot less like i said 13L/100k there is more room for improvement, but it gets to a dollar spent vs dollar return and basically spending money and not fixing the problem makes the problem easy to live with.

Was an economical 12.1 for the first month.
Now around the 15. mark
5L ED ghia.

Dan, put a catch container on your exhaust tip and reclaim some of that un-used fuel. 20+ litres for a 6 is not good.
Funny how your car sounds like an 8 and uses fuel like one to.
