Default The best cockroach and spider poison?

I need advice guys.I have redback spiders around the place and I went to bunnings hardware for the spider poison.I Sprayed around the house and directly onto the redbacks. The next day the spiders were still hanging around alive and healthy!! Where can I get some really good poison from to get rid of these bugs?

Keep the daddy long legs ... they get rid of redbacks for you.

But for spiders I ahve found your normal fly spray that kills spiders does the job.

Stav,

Coopex is the best stuff, you buy it in a soup sized satchel for about $7 and it makes 4 litres. l use it on ants but it equally kills spiders, and has a lasting effect for at least a month

Cheers

another good one is the surface spray from aldi...very potent stuff that is. Its in a red can with a black top. we had heaps of ants where i used to live and we sprayed this once around the front door and for six months we would find dead ants, spiders and upturned cockroaches and other crawling insects. Glad it stopped the ants and cockys coming in the house.

If you have any agricultural supply stores nearby, Lorsban mixed at 8X strength does wonders on spiders, and most other insects. Even in the city you can find places that stock it ilke IAMA or Primac. Dunno how much it costs in small quantities, the old man gets it in 20L drums so I just pinch a small jar worth every year.

I've found fire and small amounts of petrol good for getting rid of huntsmens.

Moderate amounts of petrol poured liberally over the nest over the course of a day, allowing time to soak in, and fire do wonders on ants nests... Not advisable in dry grass or in built up areas, or with a short match... The time I did it as a kid I had to walk back through the paddock with a slightly singed sleeve and explain to mum what happened to my eyebrows.... the *woooooof* was hella impressive tho hehe

This stuff is the ducks guts. It has kept away cockroaches from the past 3 houses we have lived in and lasts a long time too.

When I was a kid, about 9 I think, I did this in the shed and the huntsman high tailed it under the bench
All I can remember is a lot of smoke and dads size ten swiftly planted in the freckle
