Hi guys, wondering if someone can help me. Im trying to uplaod some new pics to aufalcon.com but the page isnt responding, tried numerous times in new windows etc etc, but to no avail. I am trying to upload about 6 pics from my photobucket album as that is where all my pics go due to no room on my pc. im using the IMG link to transfer over, ive also tried loading a pic from my pc that i do have ive my lights (latetest pics that i havent removed as yet) the pics are 500 x 375...thats not to big is it? they load up in the forums ok and in the PFM forums fine too. any ideas?

I find that its best to delete your pics, exit out of everything, get back onto aufalcon.com and then upload your new pics.

Regarding uploading photos, they need to be saved from Photobucket to your hard drive. Then re-upload them using the image browse field when editing your car. This way it properly resizes them for use on the website and they become part of the database, etc.

Regarding seeing old files, your web browser is probably caching old files. Look for your browser options and find the "temporary internet files" or "cache" section and delete the files and reload the page. Or hold down Ctrl and click refresh/reload. Or set the browser to always check for new files when visiting websites.

Thanks Dauphin, your help is much appreciated. tried your tip last night and hey presto...everything worked and is up loaded. however, im not sure if itsa just me or maybe the size of my pics are to small, but when the photos are on the slide show, they are very pixelated and dont give a clear view at all. and when you click on a particular photo, the image comes up barely larger then the original. any ideas on what the problem here is and how i can fix it? am i right in that the pics are to small?
thanks guys

You have probably uploaded pictures smaller than what it's trying to resize to for the large display (500 pixels), resulting in pixelation. Please ensure the images are at least 500 pixels wide for the website.

I have updated the FAQ with this info.
