Default super lows catching guard ?

Had my ute lowered today had originally asked for lows but because its a XR6 king springs catalogue lists super lows as lows for the XR6. So when I picked it up it was alot lower than I wanted when I got home drove into driveway and the tyre caught on the guard pulling the lip down out of shape is this a common problem when running super lows. Do others have this problem.

Thanks Mike

Just get the gaurds rolled, and take it easy going over bumps or up drive ways

My guards were rolled by the panel shop who were doing a few other little jobs for me.

Thanks for the replies guys. rang the place who fitted the springs yesterday told him I wasn't happy with it being so low & that I HAD told him I didn't want superlows as I am a tradie and sometimes have to drive onto building sites he told me to bring it back & he would change the springs over to lows at his expence as that was what should have put in in the first place; so I'm pretty happy now can't complain to much about their service; admitted they'ed made a mistake and fixed as quick as pos

roll the metal , take a 1" down and moving the car forward run the down between the metal and tyre , should be enough room then and touch the paint over just in case of rust .
