hey all i posted a few days a go that i thort the wheel bearings in the front of my au ute were noisy,,,,,well it seems its the diff thats makeing the noise ,had the car up on a large jack and started the car pute my ear to the jack handle and can hear the noise,,,the best price for a second hand diff is 650 dollars,,im in sydney what do you guys think get my old diff reco or get a second hand one ?????

Get your old one reco'd. You dont know what wrong wif a second hand one. Could have the same prob again with 2nd hand. At least u'll know its fixed if you get it reco'd.

hey guys just got of the phone and can get my diff reco for 700 +gst,, mmmm am going over there tomorrow so they can have a listen to the noise and give me a date to book in ....

ive seen a couple on ebay lately might be worth a look...i think they were around $350
