Question Performance Chips

I have bought a performance chip off ebay for my au xr6 VCT i wanted to know if any of you guys had heard anything about them and whether they are safe to put on the car it is called a 15Bhp chip it cost $34.95 as it was advertised half price. thanks

Can you speak Greek? Thats were a lot of them come from.. Might be fine, but I personally wouldnt trust them.

Yeah I think that is what you have bought, your car will run rich for a while before the factory ECU works out there is a problem and will rectify it, lol. VCT XR Falcons respond really well to a proper engine management edit, save your pennies for this.

haha i love these "performance chips"

All they give you is a resistor with a cable tie.

Don't install it on your car.. running it rich isn't the best thing for it

They don't make your car run rich, they make it run lean by fooling the ecu to think the air its sucking in is cooler. Will only work while its hot, and only for a few weeks - months till the ecu learns its way around it
