Default Does anyone want me to make a "how-to" RE:interior lights??

I've been reading up on the US forums, focaljet and focusfanatics on how to change the colour of the car's interior lights, ie knobs buttons gauges etc.

I've got all the bits and pieces to do it and am currently in the process of doing it.

What i'm asking is would any of you be interested in a "how-to" if i made one. It's pretty easy to take photos while i'm doing it but it does slow me down. If none of you are keen i wont bother.

I'm doing window switches (in a 2 door but the same process would obviously apply to a 4 door) AC controls, head light switch, i'll have a crack at the clock might be tricky though, and the guages.

Let me know if you think it'd be a useful contribution.

I think it would be very worthwhile, and if you can take the pics, would be a great contribution TJ

Sounds like a great idea, make sure you send it off to Eurofordclub.com once you have done it for Timmeh to put up

Will do. It may be in segments if you're all urgent for it, other wise it'll be 2 weeks or so, i've only done the window switches so far.

**Update**
Finished the Window switches and headlight switch on the weekend and they look rad!.
The headlight switch was a little scary, It's quite a complicated mechanism and the gold trace (for lack of a better term) on the circuitboard was very fragile. I kinda pulled a little bit of it off when i was desoldering an LED, but luckily i was able to bridge it with the off cut from one of the LED legs.
My #194 Wedge bulbs came in today so i think the gauges will be next.

I'll post photos tonight after it gets dark.
