whats actually stopping you getting the headlights out? the gt bar shouldn't stop you from taking them out. theres the 2 bolts along the top of the headlight, one on the side that you need to get to with an exstension bar and socket and one behind the headlight below where the plugs are. the indicator is screwed to the side of the headlight. is it an aftermarket kit of a ford kit?

there are 4 8mm bolts to be removed, 2 at the top, 1 at the back, and dont forget the 1 on the inside (towards radiator but at the fron tof the car)

They can be tricky even with a stock bar. You probably just have to get the angle right.

At worst, the front bar itself should be a matter of 4 bolts at the front and 2 at the side.

front bar is really easy to remove, just 4 bolts, and 2 screw clip things on either side and the bar just simply slides off

do you have a pic of your bar somewhere?

i'm thinking if yours has that inbuilt grille there that could be the problem as i find my lights need to move to the centre of the car then up on an angle to get out,

it helps to get the lights out if you disconnect all the wires as it makes it more free, and i used a bit of force on some occasions to get mine out while i was trying to repair the xr6 front if you havnt figured out whats going on by tomorrow, ill have a look at my lights after my exams and tell you what angle etc.. they need to be pulled out

if it's your grille over lapping the lights i suggest you remove the bar... aint a hard job as mentioned above, only tricky bit is geting it back on make sure the side things of the bar dont go up and scrape the panel, i tape a bit of plastic there to make sure nothing happens, as i learned the hard way woth my old car...

tell us how ya go,
just remember to watch it when putting it back... or you'll be laft with a nice scrape on the panel...

bumper shouldnt be a big deal to pull off/ install you just need to make sure of those little things and you should be right

with the lights just wriggle them around until they come out is the best advice i can give you atm:P

Late post perhaps? Or maybe we're not seeing deleted posts?

SMS mario! BWAHAHA!!! :

Oh, to add to the topic: Yeah, those headlights are doozies. Take care in removing. I broke a clip tag when simply changing headlight globes :(
