Oh, no. We don't have the time to have an FPV Open day because we're busy releasing the Orion?! Hoo-friggen-ray!

I didn't mean to come across as a knob, it was a serious question

Its all about Orion and the major changes to the V8Supercar callendar meaning time is very tight early in the year. FPV and FPR will both be working on numerous Orions that they would like to keep under wraps.

FPV have said that they may run something later in the year.

Till then though there may be sightings: Feb - All Ford Day Geelong, Clipsal500 Adelaide, March - Melb Motorshow, April - Performance Ford Masters Calder Park, May - Orions released into the wild...

Pretty well every weekend in the Feb/Mar/Apr period has something to do with Ford/FPV/FPR..... The day will be back a few months after. Give them a break. Just cos they want to prioritise a successful launch of a new model, doesn't mean they don't care and cancel a certain days event. The actual FPV Day was getting a little uneventful, and this way, will bring a bit more importance to it.....
