Default Mino Man

I remember Triple M Sydney did some funny mock songs of different areas ie:
Minto Man done to the tune of Macho man - "Mino, theres no T in mino...."

Also, Welcome to the city of Campbelltown to Welcome to Hotel California.

There were others of Bankstown, Blacktown etc. Anyone have these or any others in mp3?

Club Veg. Gawd I miss them. Mal Lees is on Vega on the weekends, however Vic Davies has faded away.

They also had their Sucked Ins, On Ya's, and the aforementioned Suburban Songs. For the ones who remember them, spell AC/DC...

I've got a handful on MP3. I'll dig them out, and let you know what I can find.

Edit: Blacktown was TubThumping by Chumbawamba.

Vic Davies has kinda faded away. He does Breakfast Radio here on the Central Coast, for Star 104.5.

Gotta love the good old days of the Vegies though.

The Campbelltown one is about someone being bashed and whilst falling unconsious, they think about what its like living in Campbelltown.

Campbelltown chorus goes something like:
Welcome to the city of Campbelltown - yeah...
Such an ugly place, get me out of this place...
There's plenty of goon in the city of Campbelltown -yeah
Such an ugly place, get me out of this place...

and Verse 2 (dont remember verse 1):
We've got the chinese gardens, we've got the Catholic club,
We haven't got a lot to do, except to go down the pub
Oh! and the nightlife, I'd rather be dead
All the Westies and the Homies, I'd rather forget...

and it goes on like that...

Originally from I'burn, now in E'Vale. Good ol' Catho - cheap drinks before club209 (I sware I've only ever gone there once :P)

Yeah no pool in Minto, unless you count the stormwater canal near the PCYC.

Yeah for a Catholic club me and a few mates never had trouble getting in with the 'Jesus is a C8NT' and 'Religion Sickens me' Shirts! :

Catho's awesome, $3.40 for TEDS and full size snooker/pool tables! I don't go there much since they brought in the collared shirt long pants rule. Can't stand 20slime so usually end up at Ingleburn Pub

Hahaha yep that looks like it. Its amazing how the water receeds so quickly in it.
I think I know where you are. And you know that in my Entire life I've been pretty much into every nook and cranny around Campbelltown but NEVER into that little estate in the corner there! I wouldn't wanna be you guys if that bridge flooded.
In fact I never even knew that place existed until I saw it on the map one day.
Well you're either there or in Inglewood/Ingleminto/Mintoburn/Whatever they call that 'suburb' in the middle.
