Hey Guys

i have a few things that i no longer need and maybe one of you might have more need for it then i do.

I have a full S2 SR kit which included front and rear bar plus side skirts, i would like to give it to someone who might have had a little accident and can not afford to get it reapired or someone who just wasnt to do up a stock au. The colour is organza see pic below. Sorry i am selling the spoiler by it's self

Also if some one needs a new set of wheel to dress up there au or just in need of new tyres let me know i still have the wheels off the car and if someone is in need of them i am happy to give them to a forum member. If you want anything just pm me and i will give you my address to come get it.

Oh all the stuff is pickup only and located in Townsville

Cheers
Andrew

Hi Andrew, I am in Townsville and I have a young friend who is a second year apprentice who is in need of wheels and tyers for his au ser 1 ute. He has a set of mags but they are not suitable because its a one tonner (illegal I am told). Are your mags/wheels genuine ford ? If they are he would really appreciate the wheels and tyres

straight up, this has got to be one of the best things i've seen on here for ages. more power to ya Andrew!

BTW i don't think sr wheels are rated to 1 tonne either.i may be wrong but i think you'll be needing the ones specified for the 1 tonne utes.

Still would be better than the $600 mags from Bob Jane. He will be less likely to be picked up on them if genuine ford. He cracked one of his original mags (gutter jumping) just after he bought the car so he was in a bit of a bind to get himself back on the road. These would be a better option for him.

true but i would only ever consider it a temporary fix. have had a few reports of people in this are getting picked up over wrongly rated alloys lately.

i would be intersested to find what the ruling would be if you swapped the suspenion to standard...i sposse you'd have to get it complianced then? just a ramdom thought, sorry.

Sorry, i did not see your post there before, at this stage i would like to see if someone who is local needs them first as i don't really have any means of packing them up for freight and at a guess it would be very expensive to post

Hate to admit it but this sort of thing brings a lump to my throat.

Hope the parts go to people who genuinely appreciate them and one day pay the favor forward when they are in a position to do so

Justifies my faith in people bigtime

Thanks. I am going to give you a call on Monday night and I will have the young bloke with me as well. He is very excited and thankful for your help. When we pick up the wheels we might have a look at the body kit and see if it will fit onto his ute if thats OK.

Big thanks to AlpineAU. The young bloke picked up the wheels and the body kit and is now saving his money to get them painted. He bought AlpineAU a slab of XXXX in appreciation. It did go to a worthy cause. Thanks
