Im pretty sure thats been like that for ages.

Google has a few of those little quirks. There was one with the maps and directions, ask it how to get from somewhere in Aus to say the UK, it tells you how to get to the beach and then says "swim". Im pretty sure it was google maps anyway.

Correct, then created a "Google Bomb" to make it link to that page.

Try "French Military Victories" then hit I'm Feeling Lucky.

You USED to be able to type "Miserable Failure" and it would link to President George W. Bush's official profile on the White House site.

For those who don't know what a "Google Bomb" is - from wikipedia:
Quote:
A Google bomb (also referred to as a 'link bomb') is Internet slang for a certain kind of attempt to influence the ranking of a given page in results returned by the Google search engine, often with humorous or political intentions. Because of the way that Google's algorithm works, a page will be ranked higher if the sites that link to that page use consistent anchor text. A Google bomb is created if a large number of sites link to the page in this manner.
(full article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_bomb )

I find it funny as all hell though, hopefully some more smart people will come up with some more funnies
