Hi all
Set the DVD recorder on Saturday but the ELCB must have tripped before the telecast and therefore didn't record. Did anyone record it that could provide a copy? Thanks.

Video copy would be fine. Is there anything I could offer in exchange? I'm in Adelaide so I'd be happy to compensate you for postage & tapes etc. Thanks.

The best I can do is a video of the start of the race that I took on my digital camera from my seat. Sorry. :

nah ill give youtube a look, much quicker for all the good, And very bad bits, i was shocked to hear of that drivers death, very surprising to say the least in the cars they are driving, but i think the news said he was driving an older car? what year was it?

I witnessed the accident and saw the horrific state that he was in when they took him out of the car. It was a very distressing incident with many fans who saw him on the stretcher reduced to tears. Rumours are that the welding on the cage broke and one of the struts crushed his internal organs. He hit sideways and in talking to some of the V8 Supercar technicians at the Clipsal, the cages design is mainly for front impact and therefore not as strong at withstanding heavy side impact. Somewhat similar to the Mark Porter side impact.
