some nice models shown .. love the shoebox ..
i customize 1/64 scale ..mainly hot wheels ,but will try any brand .
NudgE^SIKBRO..you can make your own decals ,
from your printer onto decal paper ..
as for the airbrush ..trail n error ..lol..im just starting with a airbrush.
i used dupli color spray cans for years ..
ive used hobby paint (enamel) & finger nail piant (enamel)in my a/b
both different outcomes.nail paint uses acetone as a thinner,drys fast ..
hears a link to my phtobucket ..ive been doing these small scale for 4years.

the mango / grey van is enamel hobby paint sprayed from my cheap a/b .lol.

this was entered at the Australian championships in Melbourne a couple of years ago, round 2005 I think.

That thing is Freakin awesome! from memory it won a major prize, like judges choice or something. I wish I could do that sort of work. The wrecked ones are so much harder than the operational ones.

cool, thanks for the help with the windows. i just bought some House of Kolor paints, they are specially designed for airbrushing. its from the US though, just hope they dont take too long to arrive.

i've pulled the 'stang apart to practice modifying. i've lowered it heaps all round, just used a dremel to cut the leafs off the axle and put lowering blocks on

theres awesome looking models on here

I told him!

His stuff is truely amazing, he sells built kits for approx $700au to all over the world. The photo does give the model justus, a lot of the detail is un-noticed.

wow, that airbrushshop.com.au place is so expensive. i bought the metalic kit for $22. and i got 3 stencils for $18

thats a lot for postage ..but it is hazardous..
i have mates in the states that can send HOK to me ,,
but same problem..$$ for haz post.
that site might not be so pricy now mate ..lol.
also try ebay ,might find something there in oz.

yeh after a postage quote like that, the site looks cheap as.
i bought some paint from another store, http://www.artmaterials.com.au/
bought a '57 chev from ebay, just waiting for the paint to arrive now. dark red and bought some pink pearl to put through it.

Well, its been quite a while since i posted in here, Ive made a heap of progress on the Western Star, Its now in its final stages of painting. The Chassis is complete with Engine, Gearbox, Wheels, Radiator and Mounts for the Cab. The Cab is currently undergoing assembly of the Interior Etc...

The Fiat, Well thats finished. The kit had bumperbars etc but i decided against using them just to be different i think it came out pretty bloody cool, its got 2 tone interior and a few other little extras that i decided to add...
