Default 98 AU V8 Exhaust Mods

Can anyone help me with what type of exhaust system to put on my car. Im after something that sounds like a V8 without burbling thru the interior of the car. Might upset the Mrs. Thanks

I just had the rear muffler removed on a standard V8 exhaust system for the AUII Ghia and replaced with a straight thru pipe into a twin chrome tip at the end. No drumming inside and gives just a nice burble at the rear.

Just removed the rear muffler on AUII Ghia V8 standard main muffler and put a straight thru pipe to the end with a twin chrome tip. Nice burble no drumming inside.

A set of pacemakers, and a single 3" system should get the note you are after. You will need at least one straight through muffler, and a resonator (or hot dog) at the rear - especially if it's auto. This will give a nice deep note, with a bit of a burble, without the droning noise.
